Puppy Foundations Program

Raising a puppy can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to. Our Puppy Foundations Program is designed to give you the tools, structure, and guidance you need to raise a confident, well-mannered dog from the start.
Through a series of four private, in-home lessons, we’ll walk you through everything from crate training and potty habits to socialization, handling, and early impulse control. These sessions are personalized to your puppy’s age, temperament, and your household routine making it easier to prevent future issues before they start.
You’ll learn how to understand and communicate with your puppy, set healthy boundaries, and build habits that actually last. Whether you’re a first-time dog owner or just want to do things better this time around, we’ll help you start strong and stay on track.

Raising a young puppy takes more than love and good intentions, it takes structure, consistency, and timing. Our Puppy Raise & Train Program is designed for puppies under 16 weeks old who need safe exposure, confidence building, and early-life structure during their most critical development window.
This isn’t a traditional board and train. At this age, your puppy is too young for formal obedience but they’re at the perfect stage to start learning how to live in a human home. We focus on things like crate training, potty habits, healthy socialization, and basic routines that build confidence and trust without overwhelming your dog.
Whether you’re a busy professional, overwhelmed puppy parent, or just want help getting it right from the beginning, this program gives your puppy the best possible start and gives you peace of mind knowing they’re being raised with care, structure, and intention.

We recommend starting as early as 8 weeks old. Puppies are like sponges during this stage, making it the perfect time to teach foundational skills and prevent problem behaviors before they ever start. The earlier we build structure and confidence, the easier everything becomes later on.

The Puppy Foundations Program is a 4-week, in-home lesson package where we come to you and teach you how to raise your puppy right. You’ll get hands-on coaching as we walk you through everything from crate and potty training to socialization and basic structure. It’s ideal for owners who want to be directly involved in the training process from day one.
The Raise & Train Program is a board and train option for puppies under 16 weeks. Your puppy stays with us during their most critical developmental period, and we handle the heavy lifting—building routines, teaching house manners, and safely exposing them to new environments. It’s perfect for busy owners or anyone who wants help laying the right foundation from the start.

Yes, we ask that you bring your puppy’s food, any medications, and details about their current routine or care needs. We’ll take care of the rest, including all training tools and gear included in your program package.

For in-home lessons, your puppy should have at least their first round of vaccines. For Raise & Train, we ask that they’re up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations at the time of drop-off. We’ll confirm everything before enrollment to ensure a safe training environment.

That’s okay, our programs are designed with your puppy’s health in mind. Lessons are done at your home to avoid unnecessary exposure, and the Raise & Train program is hosted in our home, not a high-traffic facility. Your puppy will only interact with dogs and spaces we know are safe and controlled.

Not yet, but they’ll be ready for it. These programs are designed to build the mental maturity, focus, and foundation needed before starting advanced off-leash training. Once your puppy is older (typically 6+ months), you can roll into one of our off-leash Board and Train programs.

You won’t be left hanging. Every program includes trainer support, and most include a private lesson or tune-up session to help you continue progress at home. We’ll also recommend the next steps, whether that’s more lessons, a board and train, or just maintaining structure on your own.
